I’ve read this post recently (found thanks to Pownce, Chris Cree to be precise) and I must admit I found it really inspiring =) The clues for being liked are simple: showing huge interest when others are talking, smiling, remembering people’s names and generally chatting about things they like. Anyway I discovered that they are extremely difficult, almost impossible to apply in my case (self-concentrated, sarcastic and often selfish)
But I promise to do my best and report results soon! =) Chris, thanks again for that post =))
Btw. Have you heard of Streamy? It looks just amazing, doesn’t it? So now I’m longing for an invite…does anyone have one?;)
I don’t think this whole “making people like you” makes much sense.
I’m sure many people like you the way you are, and I’m also sure you have no problems with being nice to people you like. You aren’t that bad, are you?
Keeping these tips in mind every time you have a conversation would probably only make you appear unnatural. Just be yourself.
And yes, I have heard of Streamy. The video looks pretty promising, but it’s hard to tell if the app is good enough to make me want to use it. I’ll try to get an invite as soon as possible.
Funny. I just discovered I added this Chris Cree’s article to bookmarks to read after coming back from Greece.
